Cornerstone Teachings
Inspired from Charles Fillmore's
Talks on Truth
The love of God of God's children is beyond description - a love so tender and so deep that is cannot be mentioned in the same breath with the ordinary love as known by the world. The great love of Being is deeper and wider than the thoughts and the words humans have compassed since the beginning of language. It can be known only on its own place, and we must awaken within ourselves the capacity to feel the mighty love before we can comprehend how great is the love of God.
Let your attention rest at the heart center while you declare:
I AM the abode of love. I AM filled and thrilled with the mighty magnetic forces that love uses in doing its work. I AM powerful and active to do only good, and I see only goodness and purity everywhere.
From How to Let God Help You by Myrtle Fillmore
I Bless You
I am not deceived by appearances. You are Sprit and you are Truth. I do not believe that anyone hides iniquity, nor do you. I do not distrust my fellow (hu)man, nor do you.
You are not filled with the spirit of condemnation; you do not willfully regard appearances. You see the true Substance. You are love itself and your pure love takes in all the world.
You love Truth for Truth's own sake. Truth sets you free from pain. Truth opens your ears to hear, Truth makes you willing to do!
You are Almighty God's useful and prosperous child. I bid you go in peace. In Jesus' name you are healed. Amen.
Unity East is positive, practical Christianity. We teach the practical
application in everyday life of the principles of Truth taught and
exemplified by Jesus Christ, as interpreted in the light of modern-day
experience by Unity School of Christianity and the Association of Unity
Churches.
We believe that all people are created with sacred worth. Therefore, we
recognize the importance of serving all people within the Unity family in
spiritually and emotionally caring ways. We strive for our ministries,
publications, and programs to reach out to all who seek Unity support and
spiritual growth. It is imperative that our ministries and outreaches be
free of discrimination on the basis of race, gender, age, creed, religion,
national origin, ethnicity, physical disability, or sexual orientation.
Our sincere desire is to be a spiritually aware organization that is
nondiscriminatory and supports diversity.

Our History
The second Unity church in Minnesota, Unity East was started in 1981 by Unity Christ Church in Golden Valley, Minn. Our first locations were in St. Paul and West St. Paul. In 1986, the church purchased property in Woodbury and moved there in 1987. At that time, the name of the church changed to Unity Center of Positive Christianity. Ten years later, the name changed to Unity Church in Woodbury. We chose the name "Unity East" in 2003, while located in Newport, to better reflect the geographical area we serve.
Unity East is a member of the international
Association of Unity Churches and is affiliated with Unity School of Christianity, headquarters of the worlwide Unity movement started by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore. Read more about the history of Unity East here.
